What does CIF DAFZA mean for my order?

The price includes freight and cargo insurance to the Dubai Airport Freezone. The goods arrive at DXB and enter the free zone without UAE customs duty, so you can re-export them across the GCC or release them to the UAE mainland when you choose.

What import duty and VAT apply in the UAE?

Goods entering the UAE mainland pay the GCC common external tariff, typically 5% of the CIF value for consumer electronics, plus 5% VAT. Goods held in a free zone such as DAFZA or JAFZA are not charged duty until they enter the mainland. Confirm your HS codes with your customs broker.

Can you deliver DDP to a warehouse in Dubai?

Yes. DDP to mainland addresses in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi is quoted per shipment, with duty and VAT included.

Are North American consoles compatible with the UAE?

PS5, Xbox and Switch games are not region-locked, and the power supplies accept 230 V. The only physical difference is the US plug. Manufacturer warranties are usually regional, and North American units may not be serviced by local brand service centres. DOA units are replaced or credited under our B2B returns policy.

What is the minimum order for Dubai buyers?

Gaming consoles typically start at 25–100 units per model, and TCG at 6 cases. Mixed pallets across brands are welcome.

General guidance for importers. Confirm rates and requirements for your HS codes with your customs broker.

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin issued in Canada.
HS codes on every line: video game consoles and controllers 9504.50, trading cards 9504.40, headphones 8518.30.
An importer registered with Dubai Customs, or a free-zone company such as a DAFZA or JAFZA licence holder, is needed to receive the goods.
Re-exports from a UAE free zone must follow Canadian and UAE export controls. We do not supply goods destined for sanctioned countries or end users.
North American units ship with US two-pin plugs. Console power supplies run on 100–240 V, so a local cord or plug adapter is all that is needed. Tell us if you want local-plug cords quoted.
